Daily Juice 060 – “The first law of Gold”
It’s been years, since I’ve read the “Richest Man in Babylon” book, by GEORGE SAMUEL CLASON. How about you? It’s a story about a man named Arkad who had the craziest desire for Gold, he lived in a city named Babylon. One day a King of that city asked him to share his knowledge of how he was able to become so wealthy!
If you haven’t, you can get a copy for 1.99 on Amazon. Here is a link to a free .pdf. In the next few days, I would like to compare and contrast the 7 money principles outlined in this priceless book, in the form of ancient parables.
The ancient Babylonians were the first people to discover the universal laws of prosperity.
“MONEY IS PLENTIFUL FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND THE SIMPLE RULES OF ITS ACQUISITION”
The First Cure:- Start thy purse to fattening
“For every ten coins thou placest within thy purse take out for use but nine. Thy purse will start to fatten at once and its increasing weight will feel good in thy hand and bring satisfaction to thy soul”
To translate it in more understandable words, it simply means to spend less than you make.
I personally advocate for this all the time: to simply Live beneath your means.
