When did you join the MS team?
Jennifer – I joined Mainstreet November 2, 2021
What are you excited about working for MainStreet?
Jennifer – Mainstreet’s financial service offering fits right into my long standing belief that financial planning should be available to all people, regardless of income or wealth. I am excited to be part of an amazing and dedicated team, and looking forward to building relationships with clients and helping them to live the life they dream about.
What is your favorite book?
Jennifer – Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Jennifer – One of my favorite childhood memories is driving cross country on vacation with my family. My Dad had a small Mazda 3 hatchback and would drive me and my two younger siblings from California to Illinois to visit my family with lots of fun stops along the way. He would let me be the navigator which meant I got to sit in the coveted front seat and be in charge of the giant foldable AAA maps. We visited so many interesting places along the way (Yellowstone National Park, Cavern of the Winds, the Grand Canyon, and the Snake River).
What is your favorite meal?
Jennifer – Tacos!
Tell us about a recent event you attended/place you visited that you loved?
Jennifer – Yosemite National Park is one of my favorite places for its majestic granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, giant sequoias, mountains, and so many trails to explore. I especially love just sitting next to the stream and having a picnic lunch while listening to the meditative sounds of nature.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what’s the one thing you’d bring with you?
Jennifer – My eyeglasses.
Tell us about where you currently live.
Jennifer – I live in a small suburb of San Jose, California called Willow Glen. My condo community has 2 beautiful ponds with fountains, the largest one I can see just outside my dining room sliding door. I love watching the squirrels, ducks and geese wandering around and opening the windows/doors and hearing the relaxing sounds of the fountains going 24/7.
Tell us about your family?
Jennifer – I am the oldest of 3 siblings, Aunty to 6 nieces/nephews, and Mother to an 11 year old that keeps me on my toes. My daughter and I are always finding something fun to do whether it be watching the latest flick on movie night, taking silly selfies or videos, or playing a game of Connect 4 or Sleeping Queens.
What is one item on your bucket list?
Jennifer – I would love to plan a multi-week bike tour somewhere beautiful with gorgeous scenery, delicious foods, and great people.
